Online Delights: Mango Grill Manila's Hokkaido Milk Bites

Mango Grill Manila's Big Cheese Cassava Cake in the native "tampipi" box and two fancy boxes of their new product, Hokkaido Milk Bites.

One of the downsides of working from home is that I'm stuck with quite a lot of time scrolling through social media, Instagram in particular. Which means that I often find online shops and purchase things that I don't really need. However, as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed recently, I came across Mango Grill Manila's new product--mouthwatering tart-ish delights called Hokkaido Milk Bites.

Big Cheese Cassava Cake - it tastes as great as it looks.

I got so curious that I decided to order one... that and their signature Big Cheese Cassava Cake as well just (cause I missed it) which will bring non-rice cake lovers back into the salvation that is-- well, cheesy cassava heaven. I'm not exaggerating, my husband grew up in one of those towns where they specialize in rice cakes and he could be pretty brutal when tasting commercial rice cakes but he fell in love with Mango Grill Manila's Big Cheese Cassava Cake instantly. I might write more about it in this blog in the future, or perhaps use it as a giveaway prize. Let me know in the comments below!

So back to the milk bites. Well, they're basically mini milk tarts but don't be fooled by its simplicity, it's actually flavor-packed and creamy. It's best served chilled and can be enjoyed by itself or with a cup of joe--well, that's just how I normally roll with everything. LOL, I just think everything goes well with coffee but I'm telling you, a strong cup of coffee really brings out more of the milk bites' flavor. You'd appreciate it more, you're welcome! LOL

Apart from the amazing burst of flavor along with its creaminess, Mango Grill Manila's HMB (Hokkaido Milk Bites) also comes in a box of 8 mini tarts for only 300 to 350php while their Big Cheese Cassava Cake costs 400php and guaranteed to be freshly baked when delivered to your doorstep. They also offer COD (cash on delivery) for all of their deliveries via-Lalamove. Delivery charge would also depend on your location, but I'm telling you these are addictive so I suggest that you order at least two boxes. LOL

This post is in no way sponsored by Mango Grill Manila in case you're wondering. If you want to grab a box of their Hokkaido Milk Bites and/or their Big Cheese Cassava Cake or both--I'm not gonna judge you--just shoot them a DM on their Instagram page @mangogrillmanila or Viber them at 0995-012-8158.
